The Hook N Horn was primarily a semi-private corporate retreat for years. Now we're open for your business team, fishing group or family get-together.

Rowan Lake, itself, is approximately 17 miles long and 7 miles wide, with numerous islands. At its deepest point, this 60,000-acre lake is 180 feet deep. A protected shoreline with few stretches of open water mean you'll rarely, if ever, get blown off the lake. Even in tough weather conditions you can enjoy a full day of fishing.

Rowan Lake is as remote – or even more remote – than northern Canadian lodges that cost more than twice as much to visit.

Rowan Lake is crystal clear, with lots of cabbage, islands and structure to hold a spectacular variety of fish species, including northern pike, lake trout, walleye, and bass as well as a world-class native musky population!

You can spend part of the day hunting for a world record class musky, and fill in with a wide range of other fishing. A Hook N Horn adventure is a great way to introduce your friends, family or corporate group to a dream fishing vacation. A highly successful and memorable fishing experience is in store at the Hook N Horn. Visit our Photo Gallery to see the latest catches.

Several lakes are a short and easy portage from Rowan Lake where you'll find boats on hand and ready to hit the water. You may choose to fish at the base of a small waterfall – or flip jigs in front of a red-hot walleye spot. It's your choice! You and your guide can plan a full day of fishing that meets your objectives.
